Dead Alive aka Braindead

This one is a classic. Gross, choppy story, and scenes to remember for years.

“Dead Alive,” also known as “Brain Dead,” is a cult classic horror-comedy film directed by Peter Jackson. The movie follows Lionel, a young man who must care for his zombie mother while trying to fend off a horde of the undead in his community.

One of the standout features of “Dead Alive” is its extreme gore and over-the-top violence, which is both hilarious and disgusting at the same time. The special effects are impressive for the time in which the film was made and hold up surprisingly well today.

The humor in “Dead Alive” is dark and sarcastic, and the film is filled with memorable moments, such as the zombie baby and the lawnmower scene. The cast is also excellent, with standout performances from Timothy Balme as Lionel and Elizabeth Moody as his mother.

One of the most memorable scenes of this movie. Dinner.

Overall, “Dead Alive” is a must-watch for fans of horror-comedies and cult films. While it may not be for everyone due to its gore and violent content, it is a movie that will stay with you long after you’ve seen it. Just be prepared for some of the most absurd and entertaining zombie mayhem you’ll ever witness on the big screen.
